Shapes by AANDERSSON is a five piece mug collection that explores the functional application of various geometric shapes in isolation and in pairs. Attached to a simple cylindrical body, a triangle becomes a mug handle. A square in a rectangle provides space for two fingers to comfortable hold the mug while a continuous line of two U shapes achieves the same effect. To give the pieces even more of a sculptural look, they are constructed with premium quality porcelain and finished with high contrast matte and gloss glazes.
