Marrying the surface texture of felt with porcelain, Succession by Färg & Blanche for Petit Friture is a collection of tableware that brings together two contrasting materials. Known for their experimentation with felt and texture, Swedish studio Färg & Blanche created the felted shapes that were later turned into moulds with the help of French porcelain artisans Revol. The resulting items highlight the felt texture but also take advantages of the material characteristics of porcelain: a non-porous and waterproof material that withstands high heats and thermal shock and can be used in the oven. The collection debuted at the Maison & Object 2016 fall edition.
