Brooklyn ceramics studio Object & Totem created this playful flask that fits on the wrist like a bracelet. Able to hold one shot worth of liquor, the object is based on a circular 19th century flask Totem & Object founder Julianne Ahn spotted in a museum’s Amish and Pennsylvania German collection. Produced by Williamsburg-based studio Areaware, the hand-thrown vessel starts out as a single ball of clay and worked in the middle until two flat doughnut shapes are achieved. The two walls are then fitted together and finished with a cork stopper.
